Arizona Coyotes Sign Two –

Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced that the Coyotes have signed forward Brandon McMillan and forward Jordan Szwarz to new contracts.  McMillan signed a one-year, two way deal while Szwarz signed a two year, two-way deal.

Brandon McMillan is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward that recorded 2g-4a-6pts and 4 penalty minutes (PIM) in 22 games with the Coyotes last season.  McMillan is a 24-year-old native of Richmond, B.C.  He played 46 games with the Arizona Coyotes AHL affiliate in Portland registering 11g-15a-26pts and 76 PIM.

Brandon McMillan has played a total of 113 NHL games, split between the Anaheim Ducks and the Coyotes totaling 13g-19a-32pts and 44 PIM.  He was originally drafted by the Ducks in the third round (85th overall) in the 2008 Entry Draft.

Jordan Szwarz is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound forward that recorded 3g-0a-3pts and 19 PIM in 26 games with the Arizona Coyotes last season.  The 23-year-old native of Burlington, Ontario, also registered 8g-6a-14pts and 55 PIM in 27 games with the AHL, Portland Pirates while serving as team captain.  Jordan Szwarz was originally drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the fourth round (97th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
